and How does the writer answer the question?
The politics of the Global Production:Apple and Foxconn discusses the issues and strategies involved in the development of the business partnerships and the marketing of the electronic products to other countries of the world. Apple is a big electronic producer which much of its products are manufactured in the company Foxconn and distributed to the company Apple. The assemble, fitting and manugacturing of the products takes place in the company Apple. There are various issues discussed like the labour system and their working methodology and incentives for working in the Apple company. There was a statistical survey conducted in the Taiwanese company Foxconn with many manufacturing units in Chinese regions. The survey included interviews of the workers in the factory with quality testing, scientific assembling and manufacturing with development of the covering metals for the electronic items. The company revealed that the profits in the market as the prices were set very low to meet the needs and demands of the common people in the society. The quarter profits were less and could be met by the investment in the form of shares. There was a comparison of the shares of the foxconn company and Apple in USA which revealed that the quarter shares of Apple were much more as compared to the original parts manugacturing company Foxconn in the market. The cost can be increased by expoting the manufactures electronic parts to international business dealers and companies through which tremendous amount of revenue is generated in the form of money and taxes. There are various firms which serve as contract manufacturers for assembling and manufacturing the electronic products after quality assessment and production with supply chain management. There are factory strikes by workers and labourers when they demand an increase in the number of incentives and pay hike for the extra work hours that they have put in for the manufacturing of the desired products in the market. Labour was cheap in Japan and Taiwan so many international business firms with electronic good production like IBM and Intel were set up in various countries in south-east asia like Malaysia, Indonesia and South Korea after Taiwan and China. Various rural migrant workgers are provided jobs at cheap wages for assembling the electronic products so as to afford the demands of the local people in the society in various countries. The workers in the company reported that the attitude of the supervisor was bad towards the working teenage labour class involved in the assembling of the electronic items in the market.
