how to study for LPN boards after being four years out of school?
PASSING TIPS FOR LPN BOARDS AFTER BEING SOME YEARS OUT OF
SCHOOL:-
- According to
information given by board supervisor there is no time limit on
when you finished your nursing education to make you eligible to
take the NCLEX (board LPN) and you should go ahead and apply.
-Because you have been out of school for so many years, you should
take an NCLEX review course to increase your chances of passing the
exam.
-there
are private teachers to help with this. Safe and current practice
standards have changed in recent years.
-start
volunteering somewhere healthcare-related,such as a free clinic,
public health department. This will help build your confidence,
make valuable professional contacts and learn new ones.
-Once
you become licensed, you should join and participate in your area
chapter of the American Nurses Associations, so you will reconnect
to the field.
