Traditional out-of-home advertising such as bill-boards, transit, and so on have recently experienced growth in years when other media forms have seen their business decline. Why is this so? Give examples as to when outdoor may be more attractive to advertisers than other media (I expect each group member to find different examples.)

As per my knowledge is concerned in this area, as mentioned, the traditional out of home advertising is gaining more popularity because of few reasons such as the people are becoming very busy with their daily chores , and due to this they are not spending much time to look into all other sort's of media for the advertisements and also if you want to publish an add on TV or some other forms of media, the cost is increasing and when we opt for out home advertising methods, not only the costs can be saved/ reduced but it can also have the scope of reaching out to the public or the consumers at a large with less costs compared to other forms of media.

When we are using outdoor methods such as bill boards, when a customer passes by daily may first prefer to opt for our product when the need arises which will enhance the sales of the organization. It is also more durable and economic form of advertising.

At times, we may find outdoor as more attractive to advertisers than other media in cases such as, when some event's are taking place on huge basis, during the festive seasons, during long time travelling, may sound silly, but when there is no power supply, outdoor advertising will be very helpful.
