The pronoun is one of the most frequently misused parts of speech in the English language. People frequently misuse pronouns. For example, they have trouble knowing whether to choose I or me, he or him, she or her, and so on. Do you think it is important to use pronouns correctly in the workplace? Why or why not? Provide five sentences where pronouns are used correctly in the workplace.

It is important to use proper pronouns at workplace so that someone is not offended due to inappropriate gender pronoun. This has become even more important since transgenders have come forward in open. They may prefer to be addressed by some other gender pronoun or gender neutral pronoun , regardless of their physical appearance. Hence, to avoid awkwardness, it is best to clarify beforehand which pronoun they prefer.

Gender neutral pronouns should be used at workplace as shown below

1. I spoke to Customer service representative and they assured to help me

2. It seems like someone dropped their notebooks here

3. Whoever is the head of admin, we should let them know the network issue
