2) As a travel agency owner the affect of economic and technology on our business is explained as below.
Economic effect on travel agency. In general travel agency provides cabs or vehicles to transport people from one place to other and also to tourism places. Travel agency will be effected indirectly by economic conditions of the people living in that environment. Because people like to use private travel agencies to travel from one place to other or for a tour only if theit economic condition is better. That is their income levels are more enough to meet their daily expenses and they are ready to use some of their income to live a comfort life. If the people in the environment are earning more income then they will try to lead a more comfortable life and as a part of that they will choose travel agents to travel from one place to another or yo plan a tour through travel agency. In case if the income level of people on that environment is low then they will prefer public transportation insted of travel agents as they are not able to afford the cost to travel through vehicles of transport agency. Then it will have an adverse effect on the travel agency eventhough indirectly.
Technology effect on travel agency. At the same time technology also have great affect on the travel agencies indirectly. Online bookings, comparing rates and also types of offers provided by other competitor travel agencies have been increased now a days. It is a some what opportunity and some what threat to the travel agencies. It can reach more number of customers just by opening a website and uploading their tarrifs and offers, through mobile they can come into direct contact with customers. They can receive payment of advance for booking the vehicle through online banking system. It also eased the processs of billing by sending that bill through e mail.
And the threat is the cutomer can compare our tariffs with our competitors's tarrifs and discounts just by sitting infront of a internet.
The company shall review all the feedbacks received by their customers and after analysing it they should take necessary actions to improve the week areas and the issues from which we are getting negative feedback shall be restructured based on customer requirements and customer satisfaction.
