A disaster would be disrupting the community’s functioning where there would be involvement of widespread human material and the losses would exceed the ability of a society to cope up.

Natural hazards may be causing huge impacts on the societies as well as the environment. The sectors such as tourism, agriculture as well as water, which would be closely related to the environment, would be affected greatly by such extremities. If there is occurrence of extreme events, there would be shifts in the mean climate, along with a shift in probabilities. There would be mean temperature shifts, along with an increase in extreme hot weather and reduction in extreme cold weather.
