Based on what you know about a particular kind of business, what are some of the risks it will face if the economy is reopened before the Corona Virus has not been completely eradicated and a reliable vaccine is not yet available. What kind of mitigation should this type of business use?
Now as the Covid-19 pandemic is scaring the world around it people have started realising the importance of all the services and products which they used to take for granted earlier. As all the economics are under lockdown, businesses are facing major survival issues.
Saloons and Barbershops are one of these businesses which had to shut their doors in order to slow the spread of the deadly virus. The Saloons are barbershops provide very essential services to people and currently, we don’t have any vaccine to fight with Covid-19. So, what will happen if these businesses get reopen before the availability of a reliable vaccine?
The barber can’t give you a haircut without touching your hair or he can’t give you manicure without touching your hands. This is one of the business in which it is impossible to keep the social distance. So, if these businesses get open then we will have high chances of getting infected. But in order to run the business and take care of the health of their customers, they can revamp their business model.
Temperature check should be done for each and every customer who enter the shop, the salon sanitization should be done every day, tools sanitization before and after every service. Hand sanitizer should be kept for all the clients and employees, one time use disposable items should be used, payment should be done digitally, there should be limited people in waiting area, online system to send appointment requests, limited people should take services to maintain the right spacing between persons in the salon
