This idea has no effect if we consider darkness and light only.

Heat will dry up the water existing in vessels faster as no supply of water in cut down flowers.

Its a bad idea.

Good idea is to water the plants regularly.

Not a good idea.

Soaking whole plant is unwanted. Vessels cant absorb water from all surface of plant but from root only.

It can help only to decrease temperature in plant.

Soaking for longer time is not good. It can even decay the plant.

Alternative idea is to drip irrigate the plant. So water wastage can be avoided.

Good idea.

Mosses have good absorbent surfaces. So it will get green soon.

Alternate idea is to mist the moss.
