"The line between good and evil is permeable. Anyone can be induced to cross it pressured by situational forces, is the statement given by P. Zimbardo. There are situations in life that can turn anybody into evil. Several experiments have been done in this field by different psychologists. In 1975, Psychlogist, Albert Bandura conducted an experiment on students of two different schools. It was a group task. In first condition, an assistant called the stuents 'animals' while in second condition he called them 'nice'. Bandura observed that the students who were called as animals increased the number of electric shocks in comparison of other students.

Zimbardo experimented in 1971, known as the 'Stanford Prison Experiment'. In this experiments students played the roles of prisoner or police. After few days the police or guards became aggressive and started torturing the prisoners. Due tio it Zimbordo stopped the experiment. It showed that the negative situations occured in the jail and turned students' normal behaviour in to evil. According to Zimbardo no motivation is required to turn good into evil. A situation can lead the people to cross the line between good and evil.

Anti bullying Interventions- A school is the second home for a child. A student spends 6-7 hours in school. Earlier school was the safest place for a child but now a days we hear several news that children are not completely safe in schools. Peer pressure is the main reason that lead to aggression among students. Bullying is the worst thing that our education system is facing today. It is so harmful that learning and development of a kid can be stopped. Bullying is so dangerous that sometimes children are unable to handle it and commit suicide. So, its really very important to take certain measures to stop bullying completely from our education system.

Several steps should be taken to control the aggressive and violent bahaviour of kids. Some of them are as follows-

  • Their parents need to be contacted and informed about their children's behaviour on daily basis.
  • A proper trining should be given to teachers, school staff and higher authorities to understand the concept of bullying properly and to find out strategies to stop it completely.
  • CCTV cameras can help us greatly for stop bullying. These cameras are important for school corridor, outside the washroom, in and outside the classroom etc.
  • A school must have a counsellors who can counsel the students from time to time regarding their problems.
  • There sholud be a proper communication system between parents and teachers. So parents should know about the behaviour of their child.
  • The teacher should make some rules in the classroom against bullying. He/she can make several strategies to control the bullying behaviour of a student by giving him reward for good work, by praising him for controlling his anger.

On the basis of these points it could be said that bullying should stop before it starts. With the help of practising good qualities in the class room or in school bullying can be removed from our education system forever.
