Transformational leader is a person or an individual who does his duties and responsibilities in such a perfect manner and with lot of values that his followers or team do the same. He becomes a role model for all around him. He inspires all through his dedication. He creates an inspiring vision of the future ahead that the employees follow him with full of trust. There are both advantages and disadvantages in this type of leadership. Few advantages are
1. A transformational leader treats all equals .so there is no discrimination among anyone.
2. He studies individuals skills and talents and recognises them. So every one feels important.
3. Under transformational leader the whole team moves towards one goal which in unity can be achieved very soon.
4. Productivity is found on the higher scale under this leadership
Some disadvantages are
1. Not all team members take this leader as their role model. Not all will be inspired. Some will go against their ideals.
2. Not only motivation will energise employees. Many other aspects like reward and appreciation will magic.
3. Sometimes the team or employees will feel forceful always working for the objective of the organization.
4. Leader will lose his hold once a few of them go against his vision or leadership
