1. Visionary management style- it is also known as inspirational, charismatic, strategic or authoritative. Visionary managers focus on conveying the overall vision of the company or its project to their team. They concentrate on motivation and alignment of the team instead of involving themselves in day to day details. It can be difficult to adopt by introvert managers. It requires an emotional intelligence, willingness to take risk and ability to manage change.
For example: Nelson Mandela, he led his country South Africa to liberation and he motivated people to bring change without dictating their actions.
Potential impacts on a business-

(ii) They attract talent to the organization
(iii) Motivate team members to make more effective decisions

2. Transformational management style- it focuses on team-building, motivation and collaboration with employees at different levels of an organization to accomplish change for the better. Transformational managers set goals and incentives to push their subordinates to effective performance levels while providing opportunities for personal and professional growth for each employee. They may be found at all levels of an organization. It is based on 4 elements which are inspiring people, intellectual simulation, idealized influence and individual consideration.
For example: Steve Jobs, he constantly challenged his employees to think beyond what has already been done and motivate them to create products that the customers did not even know it needed.

3. Coaching management style- it emphasizes the consideration of worker’s needs, training and development. Coaching manager strives to improve their employees’ long term professional development. They motivate their employees with professional development opportunities, like a promotion or more responsibilities.
For example: Robert Patterson (CEO, National Cash Register) mentored or coached Thomas Watson (Founder of IBM)
