The classes of employees protected by Title VII of the Civil Rights Act are :
Affirmative Action was put into place so that the applicants are employed and employees are treated during their job or employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, and national origin. It was necessary to remove the discrimination to provide equal opportunities to everyone.
Title VII and Affirmative Action are important and necessary because it will increase employment and provide equal opportunities to everyone. If an employer fires an employee on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, and national origin then legal action can be taken against the employer of the company. This will provide equal opportunities to men and women.
An employer cannot segregate, refuse to hire or deny training to the members of protected classes, just because they belong to protected classes.
Affirmative Action is necessary to be taken place to reduce or end the discrimination to the previously denied minorities and women.
