Solutions

Expert Solution

Yes, According to me, pop-up ads are disruptive because they are very annoying. Instead of being that effective and useful, the users of the web get irritated and frustrated by this.

It makes their web experience worse. People mistakenly click on the link to the advertisement and then the page to the advertisement opens. People often get disturbed and even finish off in the middle of what they were surfing on the internet.

They are an invasion of privacy because most of the time pop up ads are based upon the cookies. They are based upon the web history of the users. It is so in order to make the advertisements relevant to the interests of the users. But, in any manner, they invade the privacy of users.

Yes, I consider that the use of pop up ads is unethical, because many times, it causes theft of private information of the users. Pop up ads can cause malware to be passed into the user's device even when clicked accidentally. It is because of this that the usage of the internet for minors is considered to be dangerous.
