According to the given question-

Avocado Oil- is obtained from the fruit of Avocado plant which is also called Persea americana found in the region of Central America, in warm and subtropical climates. Contains several  bioactive compounds such as polyphenols, tocopherols, as well as phytosterols also increases absorption of carotenoids.  

Avocado oil is obtained after pressing the fresh pulp of fruit, have high monounsaturated fatty acid content, butter or mushroom flavour, and are green in colour due to presence of high amount of carotenoids as well as chlorophylls. Oil also have  Vitamin E and beta-Sitosterol  low acidic, and high smoke point due to which frequently used in baking, roasting, and sauteing.

Fruit pulp contains-

  • oil - 60%
  • skin,- 7%
  • seed- 2%

Uses-

  • food industry- due to high smoke point and high monounsaturated fatty acid content
  • cosmetics and lubrication due to its moisturizing and regenerative property.
  • used as cooking oil at high temperature also
  • helps in cardiovascular complications because of vitamin E and beta-Sitosterol
  • good source of human nutrition
  • used as ingredient for making other products.
