It can be argued that almost all diseases have, at their root, a cellular basis. This means we can typically trace every genetic or acquired condition to a problem in a specific type of cell. Is it possible, however, that these diseases/conditions/traits can actually be traced as far as the organelle level? Explore this possibility.

Yes, it's true that we could trace genetic or acquired condition to a disease through a specific way. Each organelle of cell play a crucial role in performing cellular activities. for instance , inclusion cell disease happen because of malfunctioning of the Golgi bodies, that play a crucial role in post translational modification.Other example might be , defect within the mitochondria gene could lead on to the genetic diseases transfer from mother to the kids.

Each cell type found within the organism performs a various and unique set of functions, the disruption of which may result in disease. Identifying the cell types that contribute to the event ofa disease is vital in understanding its etiology. Thousands of genes that influence human disease are identified through linkage analysis, genome-wide association studies and genome sequencing . In many cases, the cell types that genes directly affect and by which promote disease development have yet to be characterized or are still debated. Identification of those cell types will further our understanding of the genetic basis of those diseases and also the underpinning molecular pathways and processes. However, currently there exists no systematic mapping between cell types and also the diseases they'll cause.
