Due to technological advancement throughout the world service delivery mechanism has been changed a lot. Particularly the social media network plays a pivotal role in bringing positive changes in everybody's life. It has become a way of life.

Social media networks provides a wonderful platform for dissemination of information to the users or common people at large. It is one of the best methods or tool to implement health related programmes. Some of the advantages of social media are-

1.it creates awareness among people about the program

2.It is one of the fastest and cheapest medium for knowledge sharing and creating awareness among people

3.It is the very interactive medium and we can obtain people's reaction immediately which enables us to rectify the errors in programme implementation.

Some Disadvantages of socialedia are-

1.Sometimes social media may provide manipulative information which may mislead the public

2.Social media often requires trained and expert resources to handle the information and it is very difficult to get these staffs regularly
