There are various media reports which depict immigrants as the problem. Mexican are huge in in numbers in USA. Media reporting and depiction of Mexican people as drug dealers in movies have produced a stereotype about them.
People simply start linking them with problems like illegal drug dealing and violence. Such media reporting directly impact our mind. Stereotypes remains stuck in our brain. Our unconscious sense remains filled with such feelings.
We adopt behaviour according to our past thought processes and past feedings. It builds a belief which keeps on consolidating with the passage of time. Such beliefs can only be destroyed through an extreme thrust of opposite nature.
If such incident dopes not take place then we start believing on previous beliefs. Brittany is arguing because she has spent a big time in USA and has faced opposite sentiments most of the time. Her mind is basically inspiring her to think and arguing in a direction in which she has allowed her thoughts to flow.
She is following her unconscious mind which keeps on noticing and reporting each and every single details in our surroundings.
