In your opinion, which do you view as more important: 1) health inequalities or 3) health inequities? Explain.
Compare and contrast the differences between a person in good health versus a person considered to be in ill health. What factors contribute to a person’s health status? How does cost(s) play a role in a person's ability to obtain "good" health?
Health inequalities are defined as difference in health status among the people in the society.
On the other hand the Health inequities are the differences in health condition among population groups, socially created and are entirely avoidable & unfair in social sense.
Hence in my view the health inequities are the major social thread which is required to be taken in serious consideration by the society and the health regulatory bodies worldwide.
A good health is the sign of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing on the otrherhand the illness is the imbalance in these health indicators through a variety of etiology.
there are various factors responsible for person,s good health status.
It may include various behavioral, social, mental, spritual, environmental and economic factors.
Out of these economic factor is related to the cost. means the economic bacground of a person as it is totally realted to the life style, nutritional status as well as assesibilty to the medical services.
A person having a very good economic status will attain better these services and will fulfill the health indicator balance in the attaining good health.
Hence cost consideration play a role in a person's ability to obtain "good" health.
