Comprehensive annual financial report has three sections which are financial section, introductory section, and statistical section.

Introductory section provides readers an insight about different type of data content in CAFR. Financial section gives an insight about financial performance of the company and statistical section detail about different data and ratios and other statistics.

Comprehensive annual financial report are set of financial statements for any government entities that are required to follow accounting principles established by government accounting standard board.

I think the financial section of comprehensive annual financial report is most important because it gives an insight about the financial performance of the government entity and also the different projects it is undertaking. It provides with the profit margins and a glance about other financial ratios and financial projections.it is a detailed blueprint of financial performance of the government entity which can be relied upon for different projections for future.
