Nowadays artist face issues in the society. Artist use satire and social engagement to portray their art but sometimes the art comes under hammer of government and they are banned. The artist sometimes has to face discrimination for the art they have made. Most of the people don’t understand contemporary art in today’s time, so the artist has to face identity crisis, as many people don’t know them.
The iconic Mexican printmaker Jose Guadalupe Posada created an artistic legacy through his sketches of skeletons and skulls, one he honed to remark on the national politicians of his time.
