1-Comparatively,there's been significant change in Public health now as currect public health are implementing- -Public health Surveillance and Programs, Public health surveillance has led to the identification and prioritization of many public health issues facing the world today(HIV,diabetes,TB,CHF..).Public health programs help in monitoring the health situation and assessing health trends, articulating ethical and evidence-based policy options, reduces the incidence of disease, disability, and the effects of aging and other physical and mental health conditions,in disease prevention efforts through local health systems and non-governmental organizations.

-Contribution in Healthcare -public health contributes to medical care by identifying and assessing population needs for health care services by identifying the most appropriate interventions, asessing and evaluating medical services ,informing and educating about health issues

-Promotes modern medicine and scientific neutrality to drive the public health policy and campaign

-Public health aims to make the field more accessible to the general public and more user-driven.

-Public health is now more interested in shaping a research agenda and online driven health education, research, and training

2-Public health topic that i'm more intrested now is Communicable diseases .As we all COVID pandemic remarkably affected public health.Communicable diseases are more rapidly spreading type and need to be prevented, controlled, treated. This can be done by surveillance on data (with epidemiologists),community health and hygiene practices, noting down cases and health indicators, and through the promotion of healthy behaviors.Common public health initiatives include promotion of hand-washing ,wearing of masks, social distancing , delivery of vaccinations in the areas disease spreads.Communicable diseases are controlled by educating about health issues, campaign and programs on awareness on spread.

3-I find 'Mental Health ' as the challenging topic of Public health. As Overall Health not only measures physically but also mentally Mental is not the one which can be diagnosed easily with tests or scans but it is to be evaluated step by step and treated by counselling and engaging with the person. One must always appreciate and address mental health and symptoms. It’s estimated that 16.2 million adults in the United States, or 6.7 percent of American adults, have had at least one major depressive episode in a given year.Depression is most common in ages 18 to 25 (10.9 percent).

-prevention of suicide/depression must be mutlifaceted with suicide prevention programs and good counselling, healthy lifestyle

-The public health approach aims to reduce the factors that increase the likelihood of suicide and uplift those that protect against it. We must work together to reduce stigma and ensure everyone has access to mental health care.

-Increased education of mental health and training in dealing with mental health issues.
