1.Reduced motor vehicle accidents-Vehicle acccidents is one of the leading cause of death throughout the globe.It is one of the leading cause of death in most countries.The majority of deaths occured from drunken-driving.Teenaged drivers overspeed ,make illegal drifts and drive after taking drugs or alcohol.The strategies that have been taken are strict enforcement of laws restricting purchase of alcohol among underaged youths and introduction of graduated liscensing systems.

2.Improvement in maternal and infant health-The decade has seen reduction in the number of maternal and infant deaths.The strategy implemented is mandatory fortification of cereals grain products and expansion of screening of newborns.This has lead to earlier identification and prevention of diseases.

3 Improvements in controlling and preventing communicable diseases-Innovative advancements in health care sector and prevention efforts helps in controlling the progress of the disease.Extension of HIV testing including screening of persons resulted in early diagnosis of the disease ,helping them to get treatment earlier and also gives necessary information to protect the partners.Significant investments for disease surveillance have improved the capacity to identify suscepted individuals .
