Solutions

Expert Solution

Below is the sales order process as per SAP ERP sales and Distribution module:

1. First and foremost, primary and secondary research must be conducted in order to garner the interest of the customers in the company's products and establish the target market for the products of the company.

2. Then a marketing strategy is to be established in order to evoke the interest of the target market segment of customers in the product and also engage with them on regular basis and use various marketing strategies to woo such customers.

3. Next step is to increase the sales of the product through various advertising and promotion events such as social media marketing, ATL, BTL marketing, advertisements on print and digital media etc which would promote the product among the target market segment.

4. Make proper distribution channels for the effective sales of the product. These distribution channels can be through dealerships, partnership with distribution companies, online distribution model etc.

The sales and marketing functional area of business is responsible for all these events.
