Solutions

Expert Solution

1. Carbon exchange from rocks to atmosphere ,land , ocean and biosphere is 10^13 to 10^14 gm per year . It is very slow chemical reaction process of carbon that goes from one system to another it takes 100 to 200illion years.

2. Human input carbon in to atmosphere annually average 10^15 gm or 10^15 to 10^16 gram per year. It is very fast reaction process carbon goes to atmosphere.

3. First due to more emissions of Co2 in to atmosphere ocean acidification happens. Ocean water absorb Co2 from atmosphere and dissolved in ocean water as a result oceanic carbon cycle will be disturb

Second more input of Co2 in to atmosphere as a result it increase the atmospheric temperature . it affects the climate and weather patterns so plants can not maintain absorbe CO2 from atmosphere so carbon imbalance happens.

4. Afert 1800 to present year suddenly growth of CO2 amount in atmosphere but before 1800 carbon dioxide amount was very low concentrations in atmospheric.

It increases due to fast growth of industrial activities through all over world.

Due to more industrial activities happened more production of fuel like petroleum and also more use of fuel.

Another cause due to high growth of numbers of vehicles , it need more amount of fuel use so more burn of fuel burn in engine and it emitted vast amount of CO2 in to atmosphere.
