There is need by law that the physician has informed or had a written consent to their patients beforethe start of the treatment.

This will provide an appropriate information to a well competent patient to allow the physician for the proper treatment as per his/her own choice.

Furthermore is it important for a healthcare professional to have a guideline for deciding patient competence as in present status there are no any effective guideline regardin such practices.

When there is lack of patient's competence to make a decision about treatment, there are chances that the decision of the healthcare professionals are forcefully imposed on the patient.

An in this condition patient in unable to develop a faith in the treatmet.

There is no or partial involvement seen in the total regimen of the condition.

Hence it is highly required to assure that whether patients are competent is critical stage of the treatment or not, they have provided all the information about the treatment or not.

This is the core responsibility of the physician.
