Most commercial banks are currently offering customers the option to make deposits, send funds, & perform other routine operations utilizing a mobile app. Bank clients can now utilize a smartphone for essential transactions like check deposits , bill payments, checking finances without having to make a trip to the ATM.

Mobile usability incorporates few of the challenges linked to mobility, like: Mobile framework, small screen size, connections, diverse resolutions, power & restricted processing ability & input methodology. Blame it on the tricky multi-tasking capabilities of smartphones / the inferior bill payment operation of the mobile banking app / the dearth of synchronization in a national billing system, but the reality is that even for comparatively easy & granular operations, the mobile banking experience can sometimes be difficult.

Following are some strategies that must be incorporated for mobile banking-

  • Developing applications which have the capability to run on all mobiles having diverse platforms is necessary
  • Developing applications to tackle hacking is very essential . The program should be developed so as to avoid unauthorized downloading.
  • As smartphones today have 3G & 4G capabilities, banks should develop apps that can utilize these facilities to improve usability .
  • Moving from one page to another should not be confusing for the user .The program guide should be easy to understand
