By their very nature, infections are caused by many different factors related to systems and processes of by many care provision as well as to human behaviour. Most infections, however, are preventable. Hand hygiene is the primary measure to reduce infections.

A range of strategies for hand hygiene promotion and improvement have been proposed, and the WHO First Global Patient Safety Challenge, “Clean Care is Safer Care”, is focusing part of its attention on improving hand hygiene standards and practices in health care along with implementing successful interventions.

Giving guidance to promote hand washing practice among health workers is a good way because workers are close to every medical aspect.when they do it safely can set a good example for other ones. For example in case of COVID 19 infection, the main protocol is hand washing or hand hygiene. But these days among people it's make a barrier that everytime it's impossible to do for everyone because as per situation, need to tackle by taking other concerning factors. Like some religious issues maintenance of hand hygiene with alcohol is prohibited. That's whys it's make a barrier in these days
