Assertive communication :- assertive means having confidence and forcefull personality.

In this communication it is an expression of thoughts ,feelings , opinion with respectfully and without hurting others.

* In this communication they speaks openly .

* They tries not to hurt any one.

* They makes eye contact

* Participates with group .

* They explain their feelings directly and honestly.

* They express their feeling with respect.

* They show expressions when they communicate.

This communication allows to make decisions and choices in life.

Examples :-

The person can express what he wants and what he want to do with others ,without hurting others.

Passive communication :-

Passive means accepting or allowing what happens without active response.

In this communication the person avoids to explain their feelings ,thoughts ,opinions.

* They afraid to speak.

" Hurts self to avoid others.

* They will not show intrest to involve groups.

* They won't express their feelings.

* They won't make eye contact.

They show little expressions or they won't show expressions when they communicate.

Examples :-

The person can't explain what he want and what he want to do , and they accepts what others say.

Assertive and passive communication are two different types of communication. In assertive communication clear and active communication occur. It is good because they share their information to others and in passive communication they won't express their feelings and even it hurts self .
