The workplace skills are also called Employability skills. Employees need these skills to attain growth and success in their workplace.

Softskills occupies top place when it comes to workplace skills.

The top five soft skills frequently requested by companies are:

· Interpersonal skills

· Problem solving skills

· Decision making skills

· Adaptability

· Leadership skills

I would promote these skills by explaining the importance of those in the following way:

Soft skills are the prerequisite for all the organisations in the contemporary world. In order to be a successful leader, one should have all these skills. Effective soft skills help in developing good relationships with the stakeholders, customers, other managers, team members etc. Proper interacting skills with the team members helps in enhancing the employee morale, product development, employee management and active customer associations.

The training can be effective only when the trainee has a learning mindset. Hence, the trainer should first inculcate the learning mindset to the trainee. Trainer should setup few sessions not to teach soft skills but to give tips on how to make themselves learn the soft skills using various resources available. Trainer should encourage them to practice case studies and should provide the examples of real-life scenarios. Trainers should make them analyse how a problem has been dealt and the importance the soft skills. They must offer feed back for their solutions and their growth in learning the soft skills.

The effectiveness of the training can be evaluated by results. If can also be evaluated by analysing the learning of the trainee, cost and time incurred for training and also by gathering the feedback from the trainees about its effectiveness.
