PHYSICAL EXERCISE

According to some researchers done on rats, it has been proved that previous physical exercises may help in the prevention of amphetamine addiction. Evidence also shows that exercise may help and prevent addiction.

In a research, it was found that physical exercise may reduce depression which the addicts often suffer from. In addition to decreasing anxiety and stress, physical activity helps increase levels of dopamine in the brain.

FOLLOWING YOUR HOBBIES

One step towards getting away from addiction is to do what you love the most, any healthy hobby would help the mind to be preoccupied with various things.

boredom is dangerous for human people when they have nothing to do try to get into alcohol and drugs because they would find these things amusing.

Hobbies keep humans away from anxiety and depression.

The addiction can be replaced by many things some are also;-

  • Shopping
  • Eating
  • exercise
  • Playing
  • sex and etc

One must also know that substituting one addiction with the other is always not a good idea as everything in excess is dangerous and harmful. Some people get used to these substituting addictions which are also bad. For example - Prescribed medicines like painkiller have addictive potential and people can get addicted to them.
