The shareholder of the Company changed to anger when they heard about the loss the company made in the business.
The shareholders being owners of a Company, shall be interested in knowing the progress of the Company in the business. It could be natural to the shareholders to react with anger upon learning that the Company has made losses. It could only after the discussions held between the Management and the Shareholders in the General meetings, that the reasons behind the losses that their Company is suffering from, could be clarified. However, anger among the shareholders is obvious for they invest their money in such a business of the Company.
The major contribution of Herzberg's motivation-hygiene theory is the difference in scales of satisfaction versus dissatisfaction.
According to the Herzberg's theory of motivation, the set of factors that lead to dissatisfaction at a work place could be completely independent from that what leads of satisfaction at the workplaces. Take for example, ABC, a high-end Bakery owner, is paying good wages and offering good working conditions to his employees yet his employees are not satisfied. As per Herzberg’s theory, in spite of ABC paying good wages and providing good working conditions or excellent benefits to the employees, it only takes care of one set of factors and that is, the Hygiene factors.
