The coronavirus is hitting businesses and their employees. Some businesses are still open and millions of employees are working to serve customers. Some of the employees work in their workplaces while some others work from home. Almost all employees worry whether they will lose their jobs or if they will have a pay cut. It is obvious that unemployment will rise because millions of employees will lose their jobs and the remaining employees may have a pay cut (10, 20, 30, 50%) depending on the position in his/her workplace.

Because of the coronavirus, the business environment has started to change. It is becoming a challenging fast-changing environment. Currently, many managers are faced with difficulties. In the near future and in the long run, they will need to deal with important issues.

Lastly, you have to remember that one can easily manage firms during prosperous times but effective managers flourish during difficult times.

Due to this Pandemic, The biggest issue companies are facing is not able to utilize its workforce completely. The reason behind is that people can not gathered or make workplace crowded. In near future, Workplace will become more modern and mobile so that companies can run business from office as well as from home. There will be more need of diverse workforce with people from different background, culture, talent, experience and skill.Currently businesses are outsourcing many of its business so that they can provide customer service without being impacted by this corona Pandemic.

Workplaces will be filled with employees having more advanced skills like analytical, critical thinking, technical and Management skills in near future so that companies can get the right person for the right job. employee selection process will be more strict and formal so that Companies do not have to hire again and again. Companies will be focusing on competencies, effectivenss,skills, knowledge and experience. Employees may have to work more than one task in thier job. They will be trainned and developed by companies to do many tasks or jobs in the company.

In the long run, Companies will be focusing on two type of employees first who are talented and skilled and second Machines means robotics because current pandemic caused billions of dollars loss to many companies due to shortage of workforce. Robots and machines are not human so they can not catch any disease or virus. The use of robots and machines in warehouse, production and other business task will increase productivity and reduce business cost.There will be mix of human and robots in long run.
