Make recommendations for how the issue of racial profiling could be addressed in order to minimize its impact on the target population. Think of specific strategies or tactics that you could implement to address the issue.
Racial profiling is a concept that is used when a person is targeted for criminal activities not based on his individual act but by the observed characteristics from the race he/she belongs to. Technically speaking racial profiling is too dangerous for innocent people who because of some characteristics in few people from his own race are targeted, tortured and tormented while they themselves do not have those traits.
If a country is individualistic and encourages the right of everyone in the country, it should treat everyone equally without taking race, religion and language into consideration because they have already started adopting the ways of the majority in that country. So, profiling shouldn’t be based on race but under a broad umbrella of criminals. If the same race people are targeted often the government and the police might lose the trust of those people and build tension. So, making the profiling more generic would keep the society in good terms. Looking at the past and live wouldn’t do any good to the society because, people change constantly and during the course many other factors such as unemployment, family relations, independent thinking etc. would cause crime which mostly people from the majority will commit. So, viewing crime in a broader sense would keep the society clean.
