It provides basic analysis of the role and purpose of assessments and how changes can realistically be managed without compromising standards. Innovative assessment is about continually reviewing and reflecting on existing practices in order to enhance the learning experience. The common goal of innovative assessment is to improve the quality of student learning.
The innovative assessment can be any form of assessment involving the application of a new technique or method. The assessment method changes based on employability, career development and changing nature of society. The innovative assessment has powerful impact on students’ perception and attitudes towards learning and how they manage their curricular expectations and further career development.
