Given the findings regarding the maturity/delinquency relationship, what would you suggest be done to elevate maturity levels amongst youth today? Explain. (300–400 words)

For elevating the maturity levels amongst youth today we should ensure that the children have emotional intelligence. We should ensure that while raising the children they have self-awareness- knowing their emotions, recognizing feelings as they occur, and discriminating between them. Handling feelings so they're relevant to the current situation and they react appropriately i.e. mood management. They should gather up" their feelings and direct themselves toward a goal, despite self-doubt, inertia, and impulsiveness i.e. be self-motivated. Having empathy; i.e. recognizing feelings in others and tuning into their verbal and nonverbal cues. They should have the capability of handling interpersonal interactions, conflict resolution, and negotiations i.e. are good at; managing relations. For all this, we should; coach our children to realize when they are stressed. Help our children in identifying their stress response and then modifying them accordingly for example in case the child is too agitated over an issue helping him in calming down. Encouraging our child or teen to discover the stress-busting techniques that work for him.
