Events and activities happen so fast that there is no time to think or evaluate correct courses of action. Time to meditate and evaluate and think circumspectly has been absorbed in social media communications, emails, and events.

Quality family time with loved ones and children are non existent in many homes. Rarely do families sit down for a family dinner and discuss the events of the day. Informational technology has deteriorated family structure and is a contributor to anti-social behavior in high school teens. This can lead to violent behaviors such as mass shootings within our primary and secondary schools.

Is there substantive data to support this theory? What historical precedent is there to guide how much families should rely on informational technology. What are your conclusions?

Effect of Information Technology on families:

The impact of Information Technology has on families and on almost all areas of our society. technology is much advanced nowadays and everyday we are talking about a lot of changes in the technology. This technology is bringing a lot of difference in the way kids and parents perceive the world and each other.

The technology is almost creating a family e division and on the other side the technology is breaking the barriers between parents and kids. Most of the technology we use today have changed from the perspective of just a “want” to a “necessity” in one’s life.

Technology has both positive and negative impacts on the family.

In the olden days the families where not having a point of information tiff there was a change in the plan of the day. to get the information they have to wait for a long time or even days. one has to directly inform if they can't make for the function, event for dinner. Now technology is offering a good assistance to co-ordinate and to inform about the changed plans with just a message or a call for example if a child wants to stay at school for a long time we can just send a message or a call to inform that he will be late.

The technology has advanced to inform the Location tracking facility, e any family e is in trouble to locate the exact location of the house. This gives anybody a lot of confidence to track the location easily and without any problems. The interaction among the family members has become very easy even if they are in a long distance they can easily connect with social media like Skype, Facebook etc. social media is able to bring the virtual presence of the through video call options. Safety within the home with modern security systems is bringing a lot of peace in the family. The emergency alarms as well as the quick response options help to bring the police or the correspondent authority to be at the place at the right time of any mishaps for accidents.

The negative impacts of the information technology is high when compared with the positive impact. Firstly the children are spending most of the time using this technology avoiding the parents and their study. much of the time they are looking at the screen for a long time which is affecting his eyes and the brain. after the parents and the children coming from their office or schools respectively they should interact with each other but at present this is not happening in any families. it helps maintain a personal Bond and fosters empathy for the apprehensions of the other.

Nowadays no families are having quality time to spend with their family members. The children are spending much of the time playing games or chatting or sending emails to their friends avoiding the families. with this the mode of communication has drastically changed from direct face-to-face contact to nearly chatting. This can severely affect the professional performance of a child who is brought up in such a mechanical environment.

Nowadays no family is sitting together and having meals with all the family members. In olden days all the family members used to sit together and share their experiences at the time of having their lunch so that the bonding of the family members was maintained well. Now the dinner time is interrupted by technology with people choosing to eat as when they finish chatting off working. In olden days children used to spend much of the time playing outdoor games with having a lot of body exercises, where they were very healthy and strong physically and mentally. but with the detrimental life's time with the lack of proper exercise and healthy eating habits there are a lot of health issues for all the people of all ages.

mainly parents have to advise children to go out and play rather than using the mobiles and watching tv every time.

Nowadays both the father and the mother are working and they are not having sufficient time to spend with their children. The children are addicted to the mobiles continuously playing, chatting and emailing. This is detrimental to the children's physical and mental problems. The parents should advise their children and should be able to tell the pros and cons of the technology e how it can be used and the positive and negative impacts of using the technology.

if the children are not being corrected this is leading to the wrong behaviour of the children. Many children are not having values models for minimum ethics to be followed. so it's the responsibility of the parents to mould their children into good citizens.
