• When you visited colleges to select one to attend, were there cultural differences in the campuses that made a difference in your choice? Did these differences help you decide which college to attend?

After completing my school, i was much concerned about what to do, which field to choose, where are my strengths and weaknesses. After consulting with others also, i finally decided to do engineering. In our country, there are a larger amount of engineering colleges, which can confuse any one about which college to choose because they all tell themselves the best and claim various other things. So i finally decided to choose government colleges only because they have low fees and greater opportunities.

I started visiting various colleges for the ground reality of these colleges and to decide which one to choose. To be true, there are much cultural differences between the colleges. For example, in one college there is freedom to do anything legal in the college premises while in other college there were students followed strict rules like the school. In one college there was strict focus on studies only, while in other there was holistic development of the students, there were students playing games, celebrating annual events, organising various competitions like painting , singing, and dance.

So, according to me the cultural differences made much differences among the colleges and made a difference in my choice.

These differences helped me a lot in deciding which college to attend. As i am a student who cannot study all the time, i wanted some freedom along schools, i wanted to develop myself holistically and explore all the areas. So, these differences helped me a lot in deciding my college.
