I would like to know how the company works and what is the approach they follow when they start a project. Who are the different stakeholders and the departments involved in the project? What is the mode of communication used to communicate during the project? How a small project can have an impact on the business of the company.

I would work with all the stakeholder of the project and understand their way of approach towards the project. Try to understand how they solve the problems related to the project. I will also start a project where I create performance indicators that can measure the performance of every stakeholder and identify the gaps in the process. I will learn the business communication and follow people who are good at it to learn the best practices.

I will measure the goals by creating small milestones for myself. If the internship is for 6 months then I will rate my performance every month according to the milestone and see where I stand. I will talk to my manager and seek his feedback for improvement. I will keep a certain number of activities to be completed every month and based on this I can measure my progress.

At the end of the internship, I should be able to explain the entire approach to be followed for a project along with the best practices and the possible issues associated with them. I should be able to transfer this knowledge to someone new to the company. I should be able to think on my own and make decisions that can help the company in solving business problems. I should be able to design my own project plan and execute it with excellent end results.
