Alzheimer's disease is a neurological disorder in which the
death of brain cells causes memory loss and cognitive decline. It
is a disorder that leads to degenerate and die. Alzheimers causes
dementia- in which a patient is unable to think, behave and causes
to disrupt in social skills and unable to do any work
independently.
HOW DOES ONE GET ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE: It is caused by genetic,
lifestyle and and envronmental factors which affect the brain.
- AGE: Mostly aged people suffers with this disease. Age related
problems like- shrinking of brain, inflammation, vascular damage
breakdown of energy production within cells.
- FAMILY AND GENETIC HISTORY: If anyone close in the family has
the history or suffering with alzheimer's disease, then you are at
high risk.
- DOWN SYNDROME: People with down syndrome may develop
alzheimer's.
- SEX: Women is more likely to have alzheimer's disease than men
because they live longer than men.
- HEAD TRAUMA HISTORY
- LIFESTYLE AND HEART HEALTH: Lack of exercise, obesity, smoking,
high blood pressure, high cholestrol, poorly controlled type 2
diabetes.
