Expert Solution

As we know policies are the plans/ rules that are made by any organisation in order to solve the issues for any respective field.

That can be public policy, employment policy, tourism policy etc.

Before any policy is made there are certain steps to follow and certain stages in which the policy is completed.

Stages in the policy process are:

1. Agenda building- this is an important stage as it is the first step in policy process. This lays down the need for any particular policy.

2. Formulation - It refers to the making of the policy, inserting rules and regulation under which the policy will function.

3. Adoption- After formulation comes the stage of adoption . Before any policy is implemented it needs to get approval from the hierarchy of the organisation.

4. Implementation- Now, this step is necessary as this tha practical part. Before this all above stages are theoretical. It will lead to functioning of the policy in particular field.

5. Evaluation- After the policy has started functioning, it's outcome is evaluated. That is the need for which the policy was formulated is fulfilled or not.
