Some of the qualities of a service leader are:
Listening: A good service leader will listen to both positive and negative aspects of every statement. This shows the followers that they are values when they speak to their leader. Listening is a very good skill to have a person will have to make decisions after listening to many people.
Awareness: The the company or business might undergo a lot of changes and a good service leader will be aware of the changes and also the required step to ensure the business runs smoothly. This awareness will help his followers to understand what is expected of them.
Conceptualization: The leader should be able to conceptualize the solution to a problem in his mind and be able to help his followers in the right direction. He can plan the solution accurately in his mind and implement it accurately.
A leader will have to decide whether they need to go with waterfall model or generic model for the new software development. He will listen to all his team members about their opinions and choose the best option. He will respect all the inputs and he will have the ability to conceptualize why waterfall model is the best option for the project. He will be aware of the fact that the waterfall model is the best for the software development project.
