Calculate Liming Requirements. You have a soil sample with a CEC of 10 meq / 100 g soil, a pH of 4.8 and a BS of 37%. You would like to raise this soil to a pH of 6.5, so you need to raise the BS to 65%. You also have a Mg deficiency. Assume 93% purity of your liming agent. During screening of a 100g sample, you had 1.5 g on the 8-mesh screen, and 13.4 g on the 60-mesh screen. Choose the appropriate liming agent and calculate CCE, ECCE, and the tons of lime you need to apply to your 100 acre field.

I want to measure the amount of Lead Pb in a soil sample ? I have done all the digestion calculation and procedures and I used only 2 grams of soil . The instrument data gave me the following concentrations : Sample of soil 1= 2.06 ug/L Sample of soil 2= -1.18 ug/L So how much Lead in one gram of soil? You collected a sample of soil from your backyard to use for as a source of inoculum for your isolate project, and want to use plating technique to determine the number of microbes present. Based on what you know about microbial cell counts in soil environments, you estimate that there might be up to 1010 cells per g of soil, but that in many soil samples only a small fraction (0.1-1%) of cells are typically able to be cultured on...

1) You have three vectors with (∣v⃗∣,θ)(∣v∣,θ) pairs of (11,75∘)(11,75∘), (8,50∘)(8,50∘), and (10,−100∘)(10,−100∘). If you wanted to add a fourth vector to those first three such that the sum of all four vectors were 0, what would that fourth vector be? Give your answer as a (vx,vy)(vx,vy) pair. Give your answer to 1 decimal point. Then show it as a (∣v⃗∣,θ)(∣v∣,θ) pair.
