Imagine a situation in which adult children move back into their parents’ home. Describe the concerns from both the young adult’s and the parents’ perspectives, and summarize important issues for discussion by both parties.
When a young adult approach to their family, this situation brings both good and bad experiences. The age difference create generation gap which develops communication and thought sharing problems, young adult shows aggressive behaviour to parents so that parents feel social distance.
The problems between parents and young adult raised in starting but soon they adapt each other, living with parents is good as well as not good because many issues can occur with parents, while parents can feel behavioural issues by their young family member. At this condition, the conversation is important to understand each other and they must spend time to know each other.
As we know, the technology, social beliefs and culture is changing day by day so that a young can feel gap with parents while parents can experience rude or anti-social behaviour by their young one.
According to me, both party need proper communication and time spending to solve minor issues while major problems can be solved by counselling.
