In most of the cases it appears that the adult children remain away from the parents. There are many reasons for going away from the parents and it mainly appears after marriage. The new couple feel the lack of adjustment and they so not want to take responsibility of the old parents. But there are many situations when the adult children again return to the parents. It may happen that the sense of duty and responsibility is aroused in the adult children and they return to the parents. When the adult children find that there is none to love him or her except the parents then he returns to the parents. He feels that the love of parents is the only selfless love of the world.

The parents always expect that the children live with them. They want the children to care them in their old days. The aged parents suffer from insecurity. On the other hand the adult children also get mental satisfaction from doing this. They get mental dependency and it helps them to live with happiness. But in such case both the parents and the children should have dedication and they should not be bothered with little insignificant matters. They must live with mutual understanding and cooperation.
