1) The purpose of it: is to asses a candidate's ability in nursing field to provide safe , effective Nursing care upon entry into practice in the United States and all it's territory. 2) Computer adaptive testing: it can also be refer to as tailored testing. This is a form of computer based test that focus on the candidate''s ability level. This is how it works; if a candidate perform well on an item of intermediate difficulty, they will be presented with more difficulty question or if the candidate's performance is poor, they will be presented with simpler question. Compared to static multiple choice questions which have fixed question . 3) steps required are: . A) Learn about eligibility and then apply for licensure / registration with NRB. B)Register and pay for the fee to Pearson VUE. C) wait to schedule until you receive the following from pearson VUE.
