Explain Regulation to Recruitment Practices.\
What advice can you provide to management when dealing with discrimination at the workplace?
Recruitment practices must be regulated by the organizational policies and must not discriminate anyone in the basis of caste, color, creed, sex etc. For someone who is a deserving candidate and qualifies the recruitment criteria must be shortlisted irrespective of his/her background or status. He/she must be experienced for the job and must possess the required skillsets to be eligible. Other things such as caste, color, sex etc must not be considered while choosing the right candidate for the job. When dealing with discrimination at workplace, management must take care to find the root cause and study the incident properly. Committee must be formulated to gather all the facts and everyone involved must be interviewed. If it is found that discrimination has happened, then the person who has discriminated against the other employee must be terminated. Also any such practice must be looked very seriously by the organization and employees must be trained not to discriminate against fellow employees.
