There is no doubt in the fact that it is the responsibility of the organizations who are actually using the resources from the environment to preserve the environment and should include environmental sustainability in their own corporate social responsibility matrix and campaigns so that in the end it is beneficial for their business as well.

Some of the definitions important in this context are:

• Economic responsibilities: is the primary responsibility of the business which means nothing but that a business can only exist and can stay in the market if it is profitable.
• Legal responsibilities include that any operational or technical activity should be done as per the laws and there should not be any breach of law i.e. Government rules and regulations should be followed.
• Ethical responsibilities: indicates to the fact moral actions should be taken and all those activities should be avoided which can harm anyone or can disrespect anyone.
• Philanthropic responsibility means that a business should spread goodness and should ensure that people are getting benefitted from the business.
