The program evaluation and review technique, commonly known as PERT,it is a statistical tool, used in project management, which was designed to analyze and represent the tasks and time involved in completing a given project.

The Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) is a widely used method for planning and coordinating large-scale projects. PERT is basically a management planning and control tool. It is the way to or ascertain program or project in which all of the major elements (events) have been completely identified, together with their corresponding interrelations.

POLICY ANALYSIS:

Policy analysis is a technique used in public administration to enable civil servants to examine and evaluate the available options to implement the goals of laws and elected officials. It is defined as the process of "determining which of various policies will achieve a given set of goals in light of the relations between the policies and the goals." Policy analysis bis divided into two fields:

  • Analysis of existing policy, (analytical and descriptive)
  • Analysis for new policy (prescriptive)

GOVERMENTAL ORGANIZATION are generally too large and complex and have to report their ativities to goverment this is exactly why only goverment organizations are engaged in such activities, also becuase goverment invests public's money into these companies they ask for each and evaery record wheras in private the major investment is of the comapny's owner so goverment organization is involved in such activities.
