Answer:- Things that I have learnt about myself as a learner and student in transitioning to this environment are:-
1. Versatility:- I am versatile in nature. Hence, it was easy
for me to adapt to this environment.
2. Skills:- I have skills to adapt to the change and thus crave
maximum out of it.
Most significant academic accomplishments are:-
1. Academic scholar:- I became an academic scholar after a regular
practice and implemention of my knowledge and skills.
2. Co-curricular activities:- I have been actively participating in
Co curricular activities and thus sharpening more of my skills.
Most significant personal establishments are:-
1. Confidence:- I have gained my confidence in conducting myself in
front of audience.
2. Stage fear:- I have overcome my stage fear after regular stage
performances while participating in various co-curricular
activities.
Difficult challenges that I faced were:-
1. Major academic challenge that I faced was the change in the
education pattern, the way of teaching and the conduct of
examination or assignments. I overcome this challenge by analysing,
practicing and accepting the change.
2. Major personal challenge that I faced is to mingle up with new
people. It was initially very difficult for me to mix up with
people around me. I overcome this by gradually interacting with
people.
Advice that I would like to offer to an incoming first year student is:-
Try to interact with more and more people around you and build up a network of people. Also, work on your weaknesses and try to overcome them by one or the other means. This would help you to prosper and grow in your career.
