5. What are some arguments you’ve heard against evolution? What arguments would you present to counter them?
Ans. - There are Creationist arguments which are notoriously or based on a misunderstanding of evolutionary science and evidence, there was an argument on natural selection.
It was given by Charles darwin idea that species arose through descent with modification from a single common ancestor in a process driven by natural selection.
we counter the argument by some scientific examples. Natural selection is the process in nature by which organisms better adapted to their environment tend to survive and reproduce more than those less adapted to their environment.
In a habitat there are red bugs and green bugs. The birds prefer the taste of the red bugs, so soon there are many green bugs and few red bugs. The green bugs reproduce and make more green bugs and eventually there are no more red bugs.
Charles darwin idea that species arose through descent with modification from a single common ancestor in a process driven by natural selection, which was argued by different theories, then it was observed by scientific studies.
In an ecosystem, some giraffes have long necks and others have short ones. If something caused low-lying shrubs to die out, the giraffes with short necks would not get enough food. After a few generations, all the giraffes would have long necks, this is how we counter-argument by explaining scientific basis of natural selection.
